How Reinasance considers experience, availability, household needs, preferences and compatibility when helping identify potential matches.

The Reinasance Approach to Thoughtful Matching

Matching is not a formula, but it is far from guesswork. At Reinasance, we bring a careful set of factors to every potential match between a family and a candidate, and we believe in being open about what those factors are.

Experience is where we begin. The roles a candidate has held, the length and setting of their work, and the responsibilities they have carried all help us understand whether a household's needs are ones they can meet with confidence. We look for experience that genuinely mirrors the placement being considered.

Availability and logistics come next. The hours a family requires, the candidate's preferred schedule, location, and live-in or live-out preferences all shape whether a placement is practical before it is ever personal. A strong match rarely survives a mismatch in these fundamentals.

Then we turn to the household itself. The ages and temperaments of the people being cared for, the rhythm of the home, and the particular responsibilities that matter most to the family all influence which candidates we consider. We also weigh the preferences a family shares, language, certifications, special requirements, and the quieter things that make a house feel like itself.

Compatibility is the element that is hardest to measure and most important to protect. It is built from temperament, communication, and the sense that two people can share a home with trust. We consider it carefully, while remaining honest that it is understood through conversation and judgment rather than any single score.

It is worth saying plainly that we treat matching as guidance, not as a replacement for the people involved. The information helps us narrow the field and present thoughtful options, but the final decision will always rest with the family and the candidate, with our support alongside them. No tool chooses a placement; people do, and our role is to make that choice clearer, better informed, and easier to make.

We also do not pretend that every situation follows exactly the same path. Households differ, candidates differ, and the right process is the one that serves the people in front of us. What stays constant is the care we take, the conversations we have with both families and candidates, and the belief that a thoughtful match is worth the time it requires.
